These guys at the NVLSP are the absolute pros in the Veterans Adavocacy field and no one should embark on handling veterans claims at the VA Regional Office level, the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA) or the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) in Washington, DC unless they get this DVD set.
I had studied the case law for Title 38 U.S. Code (veterans law) and Title 38 CFR for several years and thought knew the area pretty well. But its the procedural advocacy techniques the NVLSP team presents for all the stages of VA, BVA & CAVC practice that is simply invaluable and No One should handle claims in this sometimes complicate area unless they have this practice guide to use. The VA claims adjudicators at the Regional Office levels are a special breed to deal with and this is the place to win a veteran or his families' claim to avoid an appeal to the BVA or the CAVC. This DVD set shows you how to win at the first level, or at least build the claims case file so that remands from the BVA or CVAC are most likely.
This material cannot be found anywhere else. There are some unique things that can be found on the VA website under the WARMS index, "Web Automated Reference Materials Service," such as the M-21 thru M-29 Manuals, but don't short-change a veteran, his widow or survivors without getting this tremendous practice aid.
Pros: very well presented
Cons: not a single thing
I would recommend this to a friend!
